Happy to drink!

Lately I have been drinking Nettle Tea Infusions, I am not going to lie it doesn’t always taste the best. As you may or may not know I work a lot with women’s health and fertility in the clinic; I had heard of this through my mentor as she told me all the benefits. So I thought I’d share!

Nettle Tea infusions are a great way to get essential vitamins and minerals into the body. It is a natural anti-inflammatory as well which is beneficial for those who tend to eat things that are highly inflammatory(which is most of the standard american diet). Nettle tea infusions also help with improving allergies due to the phytonutrients contained in it. It will also help improve digestion, boost the immune system, improve thyroid function, and clear skin.

The best way to make an infusion is to add 1 oz of loose tea and a quarter cup of dried hibiscus in a quart of hot water. As you can see in the picture I use a mason jar. I have been steeping mine for 4 hours but am going to work up to 8 hours. Then strain the herbs and add just enough hot water to melt 1-2 teaspoons of raw honey, I am still adjusting to the taste so I normally add 1 tablespoon but will be decreasing once I adjust. Then I make sure to drink it within 24 hours for the full benefits!

Everyone would benefit from drinking nettle tea infusions, so if you have any questions please ask!
